Our Proven Process

Building your dream home can be an overwhelming experience. At NICHE Building Solutions, we guide you through the whole process to ensure the experience is as stress-free as possible.

01. Initial Consultation

Following your enquiry, Peter meets you on site to discuss your project ideas and concepts. Together with you, we talk about design styles, building use, lifestyle, finish levels, and budget, among others. We consider Building Designer and Professional Architecture alternatives, and we determine the various consultants that will be part of your building project, from design to progress to approval stage

02. Design Stage

During this time, we collaborate with designers and architects to create your concept design. This way we ensure all required designs and reports are prepared for the approval process. Taking your project budget into account, we move to final drawings and share a detailed scope of works for the project.

03. Pre Approvals

Before lodgement for building approval, we finalise all external and internal finishes, schedules and selections. This allows for final pricing and preparation of a fixed price contract following the receipt of approvals. Peter meets with you to explain the quotation and discusses the contract with you in detail to address any questions you may have.

04. Pre Construction

Once all approvals are complete, we confirm final pricing before the signing of contracts and issuing of Warranty (HSCF) Insurance. We provide a detailed construction schedule so you understand each phase of your building project, and we make a plan with you for arranged meetings with you for the duration of the project. This ensures you are kept up to date every step of the way.

05. Construction

We carry out the building process with our team of local, expert trades and suppliers, keeping you informed with regular progress updates and site visits as previously arranged with you. Any variations to your project or construction schedule will be managed as they occur to make sure the end result is something you are happy with.

06. Pre Handover

A fortnight prior to completion, we undertake an inspection together with you where we list any items that need addressing to complete all works prior to the handover of your finished home. We walk through your new home with you, considering every detail so that when it comes to the exciting handover moment, you will move into the home you love.

07. Handover

At this time, a further inspection takes place where we check off all items as complete from the pre handover inspection, noting any additional items. We provide a detailed handover booklet with all contact information and warranty documentation. And then it is time for you to take possession and move into your dream home!
